Chilli Con Carne made this morning, looks & smells delicious so can’t wait for dinner! This is the recipe I used:
Ingredient :
500g Mince steak
1 onion
1 red pepper
2tsps ground cumin
2tsps mild chilli powder
2tsps cayenne pepper
400g red kidney beans (drained & rinsed)
25g Dark Chocolate
150ml Beef Stock
1 Large tin baked beans
3 Tbsps Tomato Pureé
Instructions :
I fried my mince, onion & pepper in a pan first with some olive oil frylight. Then transferred to slow cooker adding in the remainder of ingredients (minus chocolate) mixed together and left on high for 2.5hrs. Alternatively could’ve been put on low for 4-5hours. Chocolate was added in just before serving & mixed. Can be served with rice, or equally as nice with some chips!
*I love mushrooms but totally forgot when getting shopping but will deffinitely be adding them next time to bulk it out*
